Eight rooms have been set aside at the South Mesa Lodge for the Quin Conference. You can call direct to South Mesa Lodge (760) 763-7805 and give them either the group reservation number (20080100295) or the group name which is under The Nielson Company to make booking smooth. (See below)

The Marine West will be taking place at MCB Pendleton Feb 1st and 2nd. Those taking part in the opening ceremony are requested to wear red blazers (incl. all National Officers). Marines helping out in the booths – Marine casual.

A modified Quin Conference will be held Friday, the 3rd, at Marty’s. The format will be the same as last year. Besides the dual division conference, the latest in training aids will be presented with a CD for everyone. The author is Aide de Camp John Miller of Montana, continuing his work on Management 101.

We are working toward a casual dinner on Thursday evening at some congenial restaurant, such as the Jolly Roger.  >> nice photo :o)  >>>>>>

Friday afternoon is yours to take in Old Town San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, the Midway and various other exciting places. If you are flying in to San Diego, this is for you.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

3rd ANNUAL  TOMBSTONE WILD WEST DAYS

On February 11 – 12, 2012 The “Town Too Tough to Die” is hosting Tombstone Wild West Days, a celebration to Salute the men & Women of the Armed Forces.

The event will kick-off at 10:00 A.M., and there will be ongoing entertainment consisting of Gunfights from various Reenactment groups and music provided by featured  entertainers  until 4:00 P.M., on Historic Allen Street, On Sunday, opening ceremonies will start at 10:00 AM followed by the “Salute To The Troops” Parade.

Saturday evening, American Legion Roy Fourr Post 24, located on the corner of Allen & 2nd Streets, will host the Annual USO Canteen Dance,, entertainment will be provided by Raleigh Jay,” The Man of Many Voices”. There will also be a “Silent Auction” held during the  event. The Canteen Dance will start at 6:00 P.M. and conclude at 9:00 P.M.

On Sunday Morning following the Opening Ceremonies, the 3rd Annual “Salute to the Troops” Parade will take place. The parade will start at 11:00 A.M. on the corner of 6th & Allen and end at the American Legion Roy Fourr Post 24, on the corner of 2nd & Allen. All Bands, Marching Units, Riding Units, Veteran Organizations, Floats ,etc. are urged to participate. There is no entry charge for the parade and sign-up for the parade will be at the Courtyard on Historic Allen Street between 5th & 6th Streets starting at 10:00 A.M.

There will also be a Raffle (TBA) and T-Shits for sale at the information Booth, located on the corner of 4th & Allen.                                                                                 

Tombstone Wild West Days is Sponsored by the Wild West Detachment, Marine Corps League, Tombstone, Arizona. All net proceeds will benefit the United Services Organization (USO) to support our Military Personnel, both here and abroad.
